meaning you need to have WordPress installed at the new location to import the site. To start, click the All-In-One WP Migration link on the WordPress Dashboard menu.
The first step is to click the Export To button at the bottom of the page. This action initiates the migration process, which is usually simple and does not require additional settings or functions like Find and Replace.

Import The Site

Now that you have your export file, it’s time to move your website to a new location. Whether you’re transferring it to a different server or host, the steps remain the same.

All-In-One WP Migration Import > Upload

To start, you need to set up a new WordPress site at your destination. If it’s a new site, just set up the hosting and domain, and install WordPress in your new account. If you’re moving an existing site to a new host and want to avoid any downtime,

there are a few extra steps to follow. The method you choose will depend on your hosting provider, but the goal is to import the site before changing the domain name.

My preferred method is to obtain the IP address of the new account and temporarily map it to the domain using the hosts file on my computer. This way, the import can be completed, and only then should the domain name be changed.
